SYDNEY, Jan. 29. Received 30th, 1.5 a.m.FATAL INFATUATION At Dubbo a man named Walker, being infatuated with a married woman, asked her to live with hire. She refused and he threatened to shoot her, and she left the house to inform the police. Walker fired at but missed her, and when she returned she found Walker had shot himself dead in the street. PURCHASE OF SEED The Government has purchased 200,000 bushels of seed wheat, mostly South Australian, for distribution among farmers. THE AUBURN MURDER An additional £200 reward is offered for the discovery of the man still wanted for Constable Long's murder. It is reported that one of the men under arrest has made a full confession, but; the police are reticent. HARD TO RHJACH The Labour Conference, by 34 to 27, adopted a motion in favour of the abolition of party parliamentary government.
