LORD HOPETOUN AT JERVIS BAY : ENTERS PORT JACKSON ON SATURDAY. t | CONINGHAM DIVORCE CASE CLOSING. SETTLEMENT~OF A WHARF LABOUR DISPUTE. SYDNEY, Dec. 13. Received 13th, 10.55 p.m. The address of the co-respondent's counsel and Coningham's reply in the j divorce case occupied the greater part of the day, and the Judge had not finished summing up when the court rose for the day. Alderman Graham has been elected Maydr of Sydney. The trouble between the stevedores and wharf labourers with reference to working hours on oversea ships has been settled and an agreement signed which hold* good till 1902. Received 14th, 1.7 a.m. Lord Hopetoun wired from Jervis Bay that he is improving in health, but is much crippled by a bad knee. He hopes to be able to bear the heat and fatigue of the procession on Saturday.
