[By Telegraph.] Dunedin, Nov. 29. The weather was fine in the morning for the D.J.C. Spring Meeting, and the attendance was fair and the course in good order. The amount put Through the totalisator was L 4318. Following are the results:— Hurdle Race (two miles and a distance). —Rebel, lOst 51b, 1; Smuggler, 9st 121 b, 2; Magpie, lOst 81b, 3. Four others ran. Won all out by a length. Time—4 min. 29 secs. Dividend, L 7 12s. Maiden Plate—Aldershot, 1; Errington, 2; Brin, 3. Won easily by two lengths. Time—2 min. 23} secs. Dividend, LI ss. Otago Cup (1} mile.) 147 Prime Warden Bst 111 b (Cochrane)... 1 143 Skirmisher, Bst 31b (McGrath) ’ ... 2 85 Liberator, Bst 71b (Stratford) ... 3 Also ran U 6 Clanranald, 178 R&ngipuhi, 231 Response, 94 Melinite, B'2 Johnny Faa. Prime Warden went to the front at once, attended by Liberator, the others well up ; Response took second position later on. After a mile had been traversed Clanranald was called onfor hiseffort,but did not answer. Prime Warden shook off Response and was challenged by Skirmisher, but he held his own and won by a length and a half, Liberator close up, Melinite fourth, Response fifth. Time—2 min. 41 secs. Dividend, L 6 6s.

Dunedin Stakes (five furlongs) —Ambush, 7st 91b, 1; Golden Fleece, 7st 91b, 2; Pompom, Bst 71b, 3. Casket and Speedwell also ran. Won from start to finish. Time —1 min. 7 secs. Dividend, L 4 18s. Federal Handicap (six furlongs)—lady Zetland, 7st 121 b, 1; Forbury, 7st 81b, 2; Wolfscrag, 6st 71b, 3. Seven others ran. A fine race, Lady Zetland catching and beating Forbury in the last fifty yards, and winning by half a length. Time—l min. 15 secs. Dividend, L 4 6s.

Selling Race—Windsor, 1; Prime Rose> 2; Lord Ashton, 3. Seven others ran. Won comfortably by two lengths. Time—--1 min. 48 secs. Dividend, Ll 6.

Maiden Two-Year-Old Handicap (four furlongs)—Dunlop 31b), 1; Wedlock (Bst 31b), 2; Maremma, 3. Two others ran. Won comfortably. Time—sl| secs. Dividend, L 4 17s. ' < St. Kilda Welter (one mile)—Maribyrnong (Bst 101 b), I; Mariner (9st 31b), 2; Napier (Sst 31b), 3. Eight others ran. Won by half a length after a desperate struggle. Time—l min. 47| secs.
