ADELAIDE, Nov. 29. Received, 29th, 7.30 p.m. The Labour party have advised Mr Woods, M.L.A., whose name has been mentioned in connection with a bigamous mairiage, to resign his seat in the House. Woods a few days ago requested the police to investigate the charge made against him and the authorities are considering the matter. Consequent on the action of the police in the suppression of betting the Metropolitan Jockey Club has cancelled licenses of bookmakers and refunded the fees paid by them.
