THREE THOUSAND JEWELLERS.

The Waterbury Watch Company, in their advice to their representative in New Zealand by last mail, state that so well has their new line of short- wind watches been received that already three thousand jewellers in the United States of America have sent in their orders. Considering the population of America, each of the above jewellers will represent 20,000 people, and what their requirements will be are not very easily estimated. New Zealand has done its share toward building up a trade in these wonderful watches. Already 79,000 Waterburyi have been sold in this colony, and the public will be glad to know that all the leading jewellers are carrying them in stock. Whilst this is the case with the reliable Waterbury the cheap Continental Watches have almost disappeared from the Australasian market*, as they have from America.
