(Per Press Association). AUCKLAND, May 30, The Dargaville County rate collector,. P. L. Beart, has been arrested on a charge of embezzling L4O belonging to the county, and was remanded till Tuesday. Bail was refused. Two further charges are pending against the accused. ' WELLINGTON, May 30. At a meeting of the Committee of Privileges of theN.Z.
