Steeplechase — Pfter Oabtck (list 3 b), 1; Grafton (lOst 31b), 2; Artist (93t), 3. The race was & chapter of accidents, all the horses falling with the cxceplion of the first two. Won by twenty length*. Time— smin. 59sec8. The Commission appointed to investigate the complaints of Mr Deasy (one of the Irish envoys) that hie letters had been opened, report that he wag sot able to substantiate his charges against the Poet Office.
