FROM APARIMA.
Messrs Hamilton and Perkins waited on Mr Rolleston, and brought und«r his notice the action taken by the settlers with the view of having the road district joined to I the Southland and Wallace Counties. It was pointed out that the road district was in two different counties. After some further conversation the Minister suggested that they should communicate with the Colonial Secretary on the subject. The deputation then withdrew.
