CAMPBELLTOWN.
The -third meeting of the Camp-belltown-Borough Council was held in the Courthouse^ /on ' Tuesday, 4th March, his Worship' the Mayor in the chair. Present —Councillors Searle,' Thompson, Henderson, Hunter, Watt, Sullivan, Ward, and Tucker..; -. After correspondence had been received, a motion -was carried directing the Town Clerk to prepare subscription lists in aid of the Kaitangata relief fund, and distribute them amongst the various' places of business. ' - Upon a, motion of, Councillor }
it was resolved that Messrs 'Dr Fleming-ton and Thos. Perkins .be communicated with, with *a view to adjusting the accounts between the Borough of Campbell to wnj' and County Council, and Eoad Board. A vote of thanks .was recorded to MiWood and" other Southland members of the House of Representatives, for their aid in getting the Campbelllown Municipal Corporation Act passed by the General Assembly last session. After arranging some matters of routine and fixing the date of meeting, the Council adjourned till Tuesday, the 1 lth inst.
