Shares date from the first pay night in tho months of May, August, November and February. Shares represent when realised the sum of £25 each. The rules provide that borrowing members can repay the whole or any portion oi the amount borrowed, in sums of £25 and upwards at any time without previous notice, interest ceasing at once on the same. The Society's present rate of interest is 10 per cent., and b^ participating in the profits it is calculated that only 6 per cent, is paid for the money by those who remain in the Society the full term of seven years. Working men can purchase houses and the payments to the Society are only slightly in excess of rent of dwellings of a similar description. Parties building may arrang9 with the Directors to obtain progress payments by submitting plans and specifications which meet their approval.
