Mr Alfred Wood and Maud Williamson, who have been absent from New Zealand for some years, are shortly coining back to Australia. 4Madame Melba has returned to Australia after a. financially successful rush through New Zealand. Madame will carry back one pleasant recollection with her, in the shape of the worship of a certain North Island lady journalist, who, in the course of a paean of praise, referred to Melba as "a grown woman with the heart of a' child."
