PRESENTATION.
Mr W. A. .Norris, choirmaster of All Saints’ Church, Gladstone, was on Monday evening the recipient of an artistically designed address, bearing a representatioa of the church and the following inscription, the whole being the work of Mrs Bates : —To W. A. Norris, Esq.—On behalf of the choir and congregation of All Saints’ Church, we desire to express our hearty appreciation of your untiring efforts in training and conducting the choir during the past two years. We ask you to accept the gift herewith as a token of our esteem and grateful recognition of your able services. Yours faithfully, D. C. Bates, Vicar; T. S. Royds and C. Broad, Churchwardens; G. S. Stevens, Choir Secretary. The address, which was presented by the Rev. Mr Bates, was accompanied by a purse of sovereigns.
