My neighbours are quite taken with them, for they grow on the surface and there is no trouble for the sheep to eat every bit of them. I sowed on the 29th December, giving them the same treatment I always give my turnips. At the end of March—just tnree months from time of sowing—l was feeding some of them to the sheep.
