EXHIBITION MEMOS.

On the rise There is a very distinct rise in price of most goods, but the rise in Floorcloths and Linoleums has been very marked indeed. Before this rise we had placed the heaviest orders to make we have yet done. The bulk of these goods are landed, and not only these, but the shipments not yet to hand will be sold at the old prices—this is Distinctly favourable To our customers. Our prices for these goods have long ago made a most favourable impression. Now, when tht?e prices are continued when the goods are worth from 15 to 20 per cent, more money, they should be right indeed. Over 50 designs at prices from under Is per yard up. Mercerised Cottons Mercerised Cotton is a fabric that has sprung into popular favour with one bound and deservedly so. Until three years ago the mercerising process was known to but a few. Although accidentally discovered fifty years ago by Mr John Mercer, of Manchester, very little attention was paid to the process until recently. Now cotton can be made to Dock like silk So like silk, in fact, that even experts have to handle the goods before they are quite sure. In these lovely new fabrics THE* EXHIBITION is well stocked. The designs are charming and they make beautiful Blouses. Prices from Is to Is 4d per yard. Ostrich Feather Boas Is another article which is having an enormous run at Home. They are to be had in White Cream, Pale Grey, and Natural Tints. We don’t wonder at their popularity, they are unmistakably nice. We have them from 12s fid to 37s fid in price.
