CITY GUARDS.
The second competition for the Company’s Challenge Belt, and final for 2nd class medal, was fired on Wednesday. A drenching rain made things very unpleasant, and no doubt helped to keep the score low. Appended are the principal scores. Conditions, 7 shots at 500 and 600 yards.
Private Padget, being the only one to finish, won the second class medal with a score of 66.
