Kirkwood, Labour M.P., attempting to address Glasgow University students, was received with, disorder. , One undergraduale, leaning from , tiic gallery, tipped a sack of oatmeal over Mr Kirkwood, covering his head and shoulders. Mr Kirkwood tried for 15 minutes to speak, until the president of the ; Students’ Union restored order.
