THE ARBITRATION COURT. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, July 19. The Arbitration Court decided to hear the application to appeal from the Wellington section of the Australasian Federated Seamen’s Union against the refusal to register the Union. The case will be taken on Thursday. _ The business set down for to-day was the hearing of fourteen charges of breaches of the award brought against Wellington master ibutchers by the Butchers’ Union, but an adjournment was made until Monday.
The President intimated that on Wednesday next the Court would examine some Wellington witnesses in connection with the partly heard dispute brought by the Christchurch Butchers’ Union.
ASHBURTON, July 19.
A meeting of bank employees to-day resolved to forward to the proper quarter an expression of, disapproval of the proposed Bill dealing with clerks and offices. The managers were not present.
