London newspapers, comment on the declaration by the Czar to Sir Charles Scott, British Minister at St Petersburg, that Russia had no intention to raise difficulties for England.
FOUNDERING OF A STEAMERLOSS OF ,LIFE.
The steamer Borgheise foundered off Cape Finisterre and twenty-two of the crew were drowned. Nine were saved.
