WANGANUI, Nov. 26.
Councillor EC. Nathan was to-day .elected Mayor of Wanganui, polling 208 against Councillor Hattrick’s 189.
NELSON, Nov. 26.
At the Mayoral election to-day the contest was very keen, Mr Francis Trask, an old councillor, defeating Mr A. Pitt by nine votes.
MASTEETON, Nov. 26.
Mayoral election—Mr 0. A. Pownall 113, Mr G. Hessey 96, Mr G. 8. W. Dalrymple 6
WELLINGTON, Nov. 26.
The election for mayor to day caused but little excitement the result being Mr A. W. Brown 927, and Mr 0. F. Worth 639. For the borough of Onslow the result was Mr W. Littlejohn 80, and Mr A. Cameron 55.
Mr B. 0. Kirk and Mr J. H. Heaton were elected mayors of Petone and Melrose respectively, without opposition.
GREYMOUTH, Nov. 26. Mavoral election—Mr A. Matheson 192, Mr W. Eel tie 139.
HOKITIKA, Nov 26, Mr Joseph Mandl was re-elected Mayor of Hokitika.
CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 26
Councillor 0. M. Gray was elected mayor of Christchurch to day by 665 votes against 492 polled by Mr S. Manning, the retiring mayor.
DUNEDIN, Nov. 26.
The mayoral election to-day resulted-in the return of Mr John Carroll, who -polled 1051 votes to 561, polled by his opponent, Mr M. Sinclair.
INVERCARGILL, Nov. 26,
The Mayoral election for Invercargill resulted in a decided victory for Mr W. H. Hall, who polled 90 votes more than his opponents combined-Mr Hall 253, Mr James Macintosh 140, Mr W. H. Matkieson 23.
