In the House of Commons, Mr Balfour has given notice of a separate Bill dealing with the congested districts in Ireland. In the F ouse of Commons to-day, Mr W. H. Smith announced (.that the Government intended to occupy tho whole
time until their measures reached committee.
Mr Gladstone has given notice of a Bill providing for the removal of the disabilities of Roman Catholics in respect to the Vice-Royalty of Ireland, and the position of Lord High Chancellor of Great Britain.
