The Roman Catholics have drawn up questions'which will be asked all candidates for the city : —“ Will you vote for payment by results to Catholic schools ? Will you declare your intention to do so either in jour advertised address or on the platform ?” At present there are very few objections to the Wellington roll. A batch of summonses has been issued against some sailors to prove their claims, but these seem to'bo about all.
