THE LABOUR DISPUTES.

(Per Electric Telegraph—Cops rig bt.) (Per Press Association.) (Received 1.20 a.m., July 11th.) London, July 9. A hundred men, who joined in attaekthe blacklegs engaged in the parcel department of the Post Office have been dismissed. The postal authorities decline to pledge themselves not to employ additional labour until the 21st inst., and believe that the postmen will be compelled to yield. The officials are confident that in any case they will be able to conduct the service for two days. (Received 9 p.m., July 10th.) London, July 9. The postmen are willing not to go out on strike before the 21st inst., providing the blacklegs at present employed are dismissed. They intimate that deliveries will be refused to-day if blacklegs are still employed. A meeting of 4000 postmen was held at Camberwell, Surrey, at midnight, when complaints were made of blacklegs being concealed in the vaults of the central office. The men will refrain from attendance

at every office until notified that the whole of the blacklegs had be on disnrsec J. (Special to Press Association. '.Received 11.35 a.m., July 10th.) London, July 9. Considerable excitement was caused at Portsmouth by the ordering of the Enniskillen Fusiliers to London. The order was, however, countermanded. The policemen, who have been dismissed, complain that they were deserted by their comrades, and insist on being reinstated. .Renewed rioting occurred in Bow street to-day, and sixteen arrests were effected. Attempts were made to rescue the prisoners, which resulted in the rioters being battened, and some amount of bloodshed. The military were held in readiness, but were not called out. It is asserted that the discontent is confined to the young men of the City Police. There was a full muster of postmen at the meeting last night. It was contended that the men had compelled the farther withdrawal of blacklegs by the authorities. (By Telegraph, j WELLINGTON, July 10. The Hon.
