a THE AUSTRALIANS V. LEICESTERSHIRE. (Pbr Elbotrio Telegraph—Copyright.) (Per Press Association.) (Received 9 p.m., July 10th.) London, July 9. On resuming the cricket match to-day, the wicket was in a terrible state from the heavy rain, and in their second innings the Leicestershire team could make no stand against the Australian bowling, the eleven being disposed of for 46. The Australians thus won by an innings and 64 runs. Ferris secured 6of the wickets for 19 runs, Turner 3 for 12, and Trumble 1 for 2.
