Geraldine Racing Club.

Tho annual meeting of the Geraldine Racing Club was held on Monday evening last, there being present Messrs E. H. Pearpoint, J. Mundell, P. Kyne, F. W. Worner, J. Eeney, J. Farrell, A. White, and A. E, Cox. Mr Pearpoint occupied the chair.

Tbe chairman made a statement of the year’s working of tho club, and laid before the meeting a financial statement as to its position. The statement was adopted. Messrs A. B. G. Rhodes, T. Roocey, and P. Burke, were elected members. Messrs E. Taylor, T. Markham, E. H. Pearpoint, and £. B, Macdonald, having retired from the committee by rotation were re elected with tbe exception of Mr Markham. Mr Cox was elected in his stead.

Mr A. E. Hankins was appointed auditor for the year and the proceedings ended.

A committee meeting was afterwards held, there being present Messrs B. H. Pearpoint, J. Mundell, M. Connolly, J. Farrell, and A. E. Cox. Messrs Pearpoint, Mundell, and F. Wilson Smith were re-clected chairman, treasurer, secretary, respectively. Mr T. Quill was appointed the club’s delegate to the meeting of the New Zealand Trotting Association. Messrs Pearpoint, Farrell, Cox, and the secretary were appointed a sub committee to draft a programme for the next spring meeting, the same to be submitted to a meeting of the committee to be held on the 27th instant. The committee adjourned till that date.
