The Gourka Palace at Warsaw has been undermined. The police of this city are aware that several bomba have reached St. Petersburg, and the Czar has been advised not to meet the Shah of Persia at the railway terminus on the occasion of his official reception hero. The plot discovered against the life of the Czar is confined to the military, but it is believed that its ramifications are of a most extensive nature. RUSSIAN REFORM. The Czar has directed Durnovo, who recently succeeded the late Count Tolstoi as Minister of the Interior for Russia, to adhere inflexibly to the policy of reform proposed by the deceased statesman.

A TRIBUTE TO COURAGE. Captain Murrell, of the ship Missouri, received a great ovation on arrival at Tilbury docks, in recognition of his conduct in rescuing the crew and passengers of the steamer Denmark last month. LIGHT GOLD COINAGE.
The Right Hon. Mr Goschen, Chancellor of the Exchequer, has announced that Government will invite the House to discuss the question of light gold coinage on Tuesday next. A WARNING TO CAPTAINS. The directors of the British India Steam Navigation Company have dispensed with the services of Captain Burkett, of the s.s. Jumnae, for marrying a lady passenger who was betrothed to a doctor residing in Brisbane. The directors consider such conduct most reprehensible, and have taken this step as a warning to other officers. MR GLADSTONE. Mr Gladstone will spend the Whitsuntide recess in a yachting cruise on the Devonshire and Cornwall coast. He intends to address meetings on the mainlead during the cruise,
