Fatal Trap Accident.

DUNEDIN, April 23.

Mrs Taggart, wife of a well known stable keeper, left her homo alone in a dog cart drawn by one horse at about half past five, to drive to a place Mr r i aggart has at Muesloburgh. In Crawford Street the horse bolted and turned into Manor Place, and in doing so brought a wheel of the vehicle into contact with the kerb stone. The sudden jerk threw Mrs Taggart out, and she alighted on her head in front of the wheel, which passed over her. She died shortly after being received into the hospital, never having recovered consciousness.
