Sale of Property in North Otago.
(By Telegraph.) OAMARU, April 16. Tho Mail states that Mr Burbury, local manager for the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, has sold about 2000 acres of Mairewhenua Tables (Borton’s estate) for £ll per acre, cash, to Mr Charles Nicholls of Wyndham, Southland. The same agent has also sold several small farms in the Waitaki district at from £lO to £l3 per acre. He reports that there is considerable demand for such properties.
