The Committee of the French Senate are now conferring with M. Favre, Under-Secretary for the Colonies, with reference to the operation of the Eecidivistes Bill.
Mr Adams, of. Sydney, writing to the “ Times," strongly protests against the reoidiviste scheme, and ridicules the whole thing.
