NEW ZEALAND.
(Per Press Association.) THIS SAT. Case of Child Murder. Wellington, Dec. 16. A case of infanticide was reported this morning. A young girl named Kate Boylan, aged 19, who was engaged as a domestic servant to a gentleman in Wellington,gave birth this morning to a full-grown female child and subsequently it was discovered in an outhouse. The body was removed and is awaiting an inquest. The mother of tho child will be taken to the Hospital this afternoon. An axe stained with blood has been discovered. Fira. Dunedin, Dec. 15. A fire at Lawrence broke out in some unoccupied premises last night. The loss is about £220, and is mostly covered by insurance.
