TJMAETJ—THIS DAY. (Before J. Beswick, Esq., K.M.) LUNACY. Thomas Murrell, on the certificates of Drs Macintyre and Drew, was committed to the Sunnysido Asylum, being of unsound mind. CIVIL CASES, H. Clapham v, D. McLeod, claim £6 J2s 9d, judgment summons.
Defendant was ordered to pay the amount at the rate of 10s per week, the first payment to bo made 14 days hence, in default, 14 days’ imprisonment. _ W. H, Chisnell v. J. Demant, claim £37 19s Id, judgment summons. Ordered to pay the amount at the rate of 15s per week, the first payment to bo made this day week, in default 14 days' imprisonment. In the following cases judgment was given for plaintiff for amount claimed, with costs; —J. Meiklo v. G. Clark, claim £1 12s 6d; R. Wilkin v. M. Chilton, claim £ll 5s ; Trustees in the bankruptcy of Edminson and Kidwell v. J. South, claim £7 4s; Reid and Gray v D. Heffernan, claim £2los. Maclean and Stewart v. J.Bryan,claim £57 4s 3d. The case was adjourned at plaintiff’s request, to January sth.
