THIS DAY. [Received Dec. 5,1883,1,50 p,m.] Commercial. Melbouene, Deo. 4. The manager of the National Mortgage and Agency Company, reports on the local grain market aa follows:—Shipping wheat is quiet at 4s 5d to 4s 6d ; new milling barley is neglected at 3s 9d toJ4s; New Zealand oats are in fair demand, feeding realised 2s lid to 3s Id, milling 3s 2d to 3s 3d; Now Zealand oats in bond are slow of sale at 2s to 2s 4d.
