[Received Oct. 31, 1883, 1.10 a.m.] Grain> Melbourne, Oct. 30. The Melbourne manager of the National Mortgage and Agency Company of New Zealand (Limited), reports on the local grain market as follows : Wheat, 4s 3d to 4s 7d, market dull and drooping; malting barley is neglected, to-day’s quotations are—4s 6d to 6s 3d ; New Zealand oats are in fair demand at 2s lOd to 3s Id for feeding, and 3s Id to 3s 2d for milling sorts ; ditto under bond, 2s to 2s 4d.
