A Coroner’s enquiry, held at the instance of the police, took place at Waihenga yesterday, into circumstances connected with the destruction of the Waihenga Hotel two months ago., ,I’ha jury found there was no evidence to show how the fire originated. They considered that the chimneys were defective in construction, and farther they believed they were foal through not having been swept. Visitors to Te Whiti■f Opunakb, May 16. About 150 natives, four abreast, on horseback, marched through here this morning on their way to Barihaka.
