AUSTEALIAN CRICKETEES AT HOME. [By Cable.] London, August 10. The Australian cricketers commenced a match to-day against an eleven of the Players of England at Kensington Oval. The following are the names of the Players : Barnes, Bates, Emmett, Flowers, Lockwood, Morley, Poate, Shrewsbury, Ulyott, Read, and Sherwin. The weather was very fine. The Home team went first to the wickets, and remained in all day, the scoring at the close standing at 310 with 9 wickets down. The principal scorers were Road 130, and Barnes 87. The fielding of the Australians was very weak.
