SUPREME COURTS.
[By Telegraph.] Christchurch, July 14. The following sentences were delivered at the Supreme Court to-day Victor Perez, indecent assault, 4 years John Young, indecent ' assault, 12 months and 20 lashes; George Hall, 3 months and 10 lashes. The jury in the Chatham Island shooting case could not agree, and were discharged. Another trial was commenced to-day, but was not finished. The calendar, which has been an unusually heavy one, will have to be adjourned, as the Judge has to go to Dunedin.
