General conditions, specifications, and drawings mey be seen at the offices of the Colonial Architect, Wellington, and at the Public Works Office, Dunedin, Christchurch, New Plymouth, and Auckland. Tenders addressed to the Hon. the Minister for Public Works, and marked outside “ Tenders for Central Prison,” will be received at the office of the undersigned up to noon of Wednesday, the 26th day of July, 1876. Telegraphic tenders will be received provided the original tender and deposit are lodged with the nearest District Engineer at the time above specified. SEPARATE TENDERS for the supply of Woodwork and erection of the Bolling Stock at each of the above-named places will be received at this Office up to NOON on SATUBDAY, the 29th July, 1576. They must be made out in the printed forms, addressed to the Hon. the Minister for Public Works, and marked outside, “ Tender for Erection of Bolling Stock, at .” Telegraphic tenders similarly addressed and marked, will be received if presented at any Telegraph Office by NOON of the same date, provided that the written tenders, in due form, are lodged at a District or Besident Engineer’s Office by the same hour, and accompanied by a cheque on some bank in the town where the tender is lodged •, such cheque to be specially marked by a banker as good for twenty-one days, and to be in favour of the Receiver-Gene-ral’s Deposit Account at the Bank of New Zealand only (and not to bearer or order). The Conditions of Contract, Specifications, Plans, and Drawings of each separate contract may seen at this Office, while at the Public Works Offices at the above-named places each local set is to be seen as well as a Schedule furnishing particulars of all the Contracts for which tenders are hereby invited. For the convenience of intending tenderers a blank set of the Conditions of Contract, Specifications, Plans, and Drawings, with a Schedule of the particulars of the Contracts to be tendered for, is also deposited at the Public Works Office, Auckland.
