W arkworth School Commmittee.
A meeting of the Warkworth District High School Committee was held in the Town Library last Monday evening. Those present were Messrs J. Morrison (chairman), E. Rees, F. Otway, L. A. Petherick, H. Langridge, Grice and secretary, J. L. Buchanan. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed.
Scaling of School Grounds.— The secretary was instructed to purchase five drums-•of neutrim, to complete the sealing of the school grounds. ..-,,, Consolidation.-—The chairman and secretary were authorised to interview Mr J.G. Barclay, M.P., for purpose of explaining the situ* tion regarding the consolidation of the Kourawhero School^ 1 Bank Acco»nt.--The chairman was deputed to make any necesr sary arrangements with the Bank of New Zealand re payment of accounts, pending the receipt of a £75 grant. School Picnic—-It was decided to hold the school picnic at Martin's Bay on Tuesday, 18th Feb.
