The Federation of British industries in its report on Government expenditure, says the country is hopelessly overtaxed. Government should ascertain the real taxable capacity of the nation and frame expenditure in accordance therewith. Tho growth of civil service expenditure is appalling and the Treasury is unable to exercise the necessary financial control
