PRESS CONGRESS POSTPONED.

Per Press Association. Wellington, Jane 24 Official information' has been received from the secretary of the Press Congress of the World, which was to have bean held at Sydney next October, that force of circumstances, mainly political, haveneceusitated postponement of that function till Easter, 1821. The circumstances which dictated this decision are the change in the State Government which prevented certnin decisions bieug arrived at in time to hold a conference in October, the prevailing drought in the State and the unsettled condition of international snipping services. The State Government is, howavor, in perfect sympathy with the Congress and will render every assistance when it meets nest year.
