ANOTHER STRIKE.
Per Press Association. Auckland, June 24 The secretary of the Gas Em ployees' Union has notified the Company that the latter's refusal to grant the increased pay demanded was considered at a special meeting, and he adds:--"I am reluctantly compelled to advise you that it was resolved, as a protest against the inadqeuato wages offered, the shift workers will cease working after 3 p.m., and other workers alter 5 p.m. on Friday. 25th inst."
