A SHOCKING TRAGEDY.

Per Press Association. Waipawa, June 24 A shocking tragedy occurred at Argyll yesterday afternoon. A seven>year-old lad, during the ab sence of his parents, secured a riflo from a shed and playfully pointing it at his four year old sister, pullad the trigger and shot her in the face, nearly the whole of her jaw being blown away, the child expiring wh6n a doctor arrived. The father, a native named Pohio, declared that there was no cartridge in the rifle whßn he last had it.
