A dense crowd congregated in the vicinity of the Town Hall, where the Prince held a people's reception, and was subjected to a severe handshaking ordeal, as an endless line filed past. Whenever he attends any public function the cheering people mass along the route and patiently wait for his reappearance. Every appearance is marked by demonstrative loyalty.
