Both Nationalists anil Labourites had moved amendments. Labourites extricated tiiemselvea from the position of voting with the Nationalists, thereby endangering the Government by seeking to withdraw their amendment. The Nationalists objected to the withdrawal, whereupon the Labourites left the Chamber. The minority eonsisted solely of Nationalists.
