STRATFORD ELECTION PETITION.

Per Press Association Stratford, March 17. On the Court resuming this morning it was decided to proceed no further with the examination with regard to aliens, as it was held that nothing which could be proved would affect the result. Mr Myers accepted the other side’s estimate of the actual majority of 16, if all the votes objected to were allowed. ' The recount showed that 22 soldier votes had been found without the necessary application in writing. The main evidence for respondent is now proceeding. James McAllister, a member of the orchestra on Octooer 60th, gave evidence that he arranged for the music and paid lor it out of his own pocket.
