SUGAR AGREEMENT
United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright, • Sydney, March 15 Mr Hughes is conferring with representatives of the sugar industry, with the object of arranging a three years’ agreement, under which the rates for raw sugar will he fixed; also the minimum wage for workers. The producers are asking an increase in the rate for from £2l to £3O 6s 8d per ton.
