AMUSEMENTS.
MARTON—TUESDA Y. “THE PEST.” Of course you remember Keystone Mabel—the Mabel who used to rollick through two reel comedies with Charlie Chaplin and Fatty Arbnckle. The same Mabel is seen, as bright and funny as ever in GoldwynT “The Pest. ” Mabel Normand is tin centre and star attraction of “The Pest” and she is a wonder right through. When she falls down in ecstacy on receiving her first kiss, but doesn’t forget to come back for more; when she takes a bath in the water barrel, and nearly gets caught; when she enters the smart ballroom with her latest thing in gowns hanging from all the wrong curves, she is ridiculously funny and quite the delightful Mabel of the old Keystone days. The role is similar to “Mickey” and Mabel makes the most of it in five reels of hilarious laugiiter. Usual prices will be charged for this great attraction, and no extra for reserves. King up 221.
