DR. CAROLINE GIESEL. The new era of reconstruction will require above ail a race endowed with vigorous, healthy bodies. Few people are doing more in a practical public way in helping to maintain and increase human vitality throughout the world than Dr. Caroline Giesel. Dr, Giesel is a member of the advisory eta*? of one of the largest and best-equipped sanatoriums in the world at Battle Creek, Michigan, and is chairman of the health committee of the Michigan Federation of Women’s Clubs, She believes in doing the greatest possible good for the greatest possible number, and that is why she was induced to give up her practice to impart her scientific knowledge to Chautauqua audiences. Best of all, Dr. Giesel has that happy faculty of making her lectures extremely interesting, ’there is no one else quite like Dr. Caroline Giesel.
