EMPIRE SCHEME PROPOSED. Loudon, Oct. 16. The British Empire Sugar Research Association has bßeu formed, in co-operation with the Government Department of Scientific Industrial Research, with the object of establishing an Empire scheme for the scientific investigation of problems arising in all branches of the sugar industry.
