Per Press Association. Wellington, Oct. 25. The Wellington R.C. Spring Meeting opened in heautifully fine weather. There is a large attendance and the course is in good order. Results:— Seatoun Handicap—Prince Hal 1, Arch Lassie 2, Printemps 3. Scratched: Red Signal, Bonnie Heather, Flight Commander, Sir Fanciful, Galore, Utuwai, Negligee. Won by a length aud a half, half a length* between second and third. Time, 1.28. Taifca Handicap—Lucullan 1, Caricature 2, Blackmail 3. Scratched : Strategy, Phio, Tessares, Las; Hope, Sagacity, Fortune Teller, Tropical. Won by a neok, three lengths between second and third. Time, 46sec. Rimutaka Handicap—Faistaff 1, Bonnie Heather 2, Moutoa Ivanova 3. Scratched: Sir Fanciful, Makepeace, Tortrix, Lovelock, Vascovia and Konu. Won by a neck, two lengths between second and third. Time, 1.40. Wainui Handicap—Dribble 1, Yagabond 2, Burrangong 3. Scratched : Hetaua. Won by a clear length, balf a . length between second and third. Time, 1.41.
