MARTON, TO-NIGHT. “THE PRIDE OF NEW YORK.” Nearly five thousand persons assembled around 40th Street and Madison Avenue to see George Walsh do some of the stunts which were filmed for “The Pride of New York,” the great Fox photoplay which is showing at Everybody's to-night. George was a worker, and as a rival for fair Helen Worth had a wealthy spendthrift to reckon with. In civilian life this rivalry gives rise to many amusing and daring episodes, while in the great struggle heroism and real manhood win the day. If you miss this George Walsh picture you will miss one of the best pictures yet screened in. New Zealand, and one that has already drawn crowds wherever shown. It is not strange that pic-ture-goers have liked this play. It is one that appeals to all, for it makes the parents of poor industrious boys happy and the parents of rich, idle young men thoughtful of how they have cared for and guided their offspring. “Roaring Lions and Wedding Bells” will be the delight of all, being a wonderfully amusing and clever comedy produced by the Fox Corporation, and introducing the weird collection of animals that this company ia so famous tor.
